e-Transfer Outage Request

 

Dear Members,

We wanted to inform you that our e-transfer service is currently down. We understand this is an inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause.

During this time, as an alternative, we are offering to send funds via AFT (Automatic Funds Transfer) on your behalf. 

To take advantage of this service (AFT), which is most similar to e-transfer, we ask that you please complete the form below. Once we receive your request, we will call you to confirm the details and provide further instructions. During the call, we will also request that you send a Direct Deposit form or Void cheque (see examples below) to complete the process. Kindly allow us some time to return your call as we work to process requests as quickly as possible.

Important Reminders: 

  • These transfers are only valid in Canadian currency, and to accounts within Canada. For any US funds, a wire transfer must occur. 
  • Please ensure that you are providing the correct transit, institution, and account number. If any of these numbers are incorrect, the funds will not be deposited into the correct account.

During this time, we are waiving all Credit Union fees for the following withdrawal methods:

  • Bank drafts
  • ATM withdrawals (including Interac withdrawals)

The allowable amount to transfer via AFT (Automated Funds Transfer) will be the same as your daily e-transfer limit of $3,000. For amounts higher than this limit, each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may require a small test transfer before the full amount can be processed.

This method is not instantaneous like an e-transfer, but typically, the funds will be deposited in the account the next business day. However, please note that there may be exceptions, and in some cases, the transfer may take a little longer.
